Ramez Al-Khayyat Visits NASTEX 2026 to Explore Investment Opportunities in Syria

A high-level delegation from Qatar’s Baladna Company, led by Chairman Ramez Al-Khayyat, visited NASTEX 2026 in Damascus to explore the industrial capabilities of Syria’s textile sector and identify opportunities for investment and cooperation with participating companies and institutions.

During the visit, the delegation toured the exhibition’s pavilions and reviewed the latest industrial technologies, manufacturing solutions, production lines and innovations presented by Syrian and international exhibitors.

The delegation also examined a wide range of Syrian products reflecting the textile industry’s long-standing expertise and its development towards more advanced and competitive manufacturing applications.

The visit took place as part of the growing international presence at NASTEX, which brings manufacturers, investors, technology providers, government institutions and financing organisations together under one roof.

By facilitating direct meetings between these stakeholders, the exhibition seeks to transform business discussions into practical cooperation opportunities, industrial partnerships and investment projects.

The Baladna delegation also held meetings with industrialists and representatives of participating companies. Discussions focused on the capabilities of Syria’s textile sector and the opportunities available in manufacturing, value-chain development, technology transfer and expansion into regional markets.

The visit highlights the growing position of NASTEX as a platform connecting industry, investment and technology.

It also demonstrates the exhibition’s role in creating an environment where investors and companies from different countries can establish new economic relationships, support the development of Syrian industry and strengthen its presence in regional and international markets.

As the exhibition continues, official visits and bilateral meetings between international delegations and exhibitors are supporting efforts to expand economic cooperation, open new investment channels and transform the opportunities presented at NASTEX into productive projects and long-term partnerships.
