Syrian Minister of Health Dr Musab Al-Ali visited NASTEX 2026, where he toured the exhibition’s pavilions and reviewed the products, technologies and industrial solutions presented by participating companies and organisations.
The visit formed part of the official participation witnessed at the exhibition, reflecting growing interest in specialised industrial events and their role in highlighting the capabilities of Syrian companies and strengthening communication between government institutions and the private sector.
During the tour, Dr Al-Ali listened to presentations from pavilion representatives about their participation, areas of activity and product-development processes.
He was also introduced to the technologies used to improve production, raise quality standards and respond to market requirements.
A Tour of the Exhibition Pavilions
The visit included several pavilions specialising in fabrics, apparel, furnishings and silk, in addition to machinery, production lines and technical solutions designed for the textile sector.
The Minister also reviewed examples of Syrian products reflecting local industrial and craft expertise, as well as projects combining manufacturing quality with contemporary design.
Other initiatives presented during the tour focused on product development and improving the ability of Syrian companies to compete in local, regional and international markets.
The visit gave exhibitors an opportunity to present their projects and products directly, explain the challenges affecting production and expansion, and highlight the importance of specialised exhibitions in reaching new partners, customers and markets.

The Minister’s visit highlighted the importance of viewing industrial development as an integrated process connected to worker safety and the quality of working environments, particularly in production facilities that rely on machinery, manufacturing lines and various industrial materials.
The textile sector is also connected to a range of health and service requirements, from professional and medical clothing to furnishings and textiles used in healthcare facilities.
This creates opportunities to develop locally manufactured products that meet quality standards and respond to the needs of healthcare institutions and other organisations.
